The NOSRAM Conveyor Duct for 40 mm fans has been specifically designed to optimise motor cooling by directing cooling air much more effectively to the motor.
Its special design concentrates the airflow from the fan and draws in additional cooling air through integrated Venturi channels, directing it straight to the motor. This significantly improves cooling performance compared to a fan that is mounted freely.
The resulting lower motor temperature reduces thermally induced performance loss during operation and helps to maintain consistent power delivery. During long runtimes and under high load in particular, the Conveyor Duct can be the deciding factor in ensuring stable motor performance.
The Conveyor Duct features mounting holes in the base for the direct installation of a 40 mm fan — ideal for use with the NOSRAM Aluminium High Rev. Motor Fan V2 (#901838). For mounting on the chassis, MR33 double-sided tape (MR33-DST-V2) is recommended, as it combines secure adhesion with minimal material thickness.
