This is the 'TORQUE' version of the newly released G5 motor series from Hobbywing.
With more torque than the standard version, these motors are an interesting option for off-road racing or small tracks where a lot of power is needed.

Built to be More than Just Fast!
Built from the ground up, the XeRun V10 G5 motor delivers more power and greater efficiency.  It delivers a 3.9% boost in maximum output power and over 4% improvement in efficiency versus the V10 G4R 13.5T.

Excellent Heat Dissipation
New endbell design exposes more of the winding to allow better heat dissipation. Patented rotor cooling design, Thermal efficiency has been improved to reduce overall temperatures and provide better consistency.

Optimized Weight and Centre of Gravity
Redesigned inside and out, the new-generation G5 motor is 13g lighter than the G4R, The G5 has been designed to move the weight towards the centreline of the vehicle.

Adjustable Hall Timing Accuracy
The timing assembly introduces a new adjustment to allow further fine tuning of the sensors. This new angle adjustment means your motor will run smoother and be more efficient.

Adjustable Hall Sensing Distance
Rotor and sensor spacing is now easily adjustable. Three settings allow racers the ability to fine tune the response and feel of the power delivery.

Important notes:

  • The KV rate of the motors is measured without the motor having any resistance. The motor timing is left at the default setting and the ESC is also set in ZERO timing mode. The default motor timing for motors from 3.5T to 8.5T is 30 degrees, for stock motors from 10.5T to 25.5T it is 40 degrees!
  • Always protect the motor from overheating - excessive temperatures will affect motor performance. Always let the motor cool down before using it again!
  • Always use ESC that can handle the high currents of the motors and batteries. This guarantees the best performance and maximum life of the electronic components
